National Night Out is a nationwide community campaign which promotes strong police & community relations. It is a unique crime prevention event involving the City’s Neighborhood Watches programs and other neighborhood organizations. Orange County Sheriff’s Department, a sponsor of this event, states communities tend to have a much lower crime rate due to community-wide awareness and by keeping an eye out for our neighbors. This event makes our neighborhoods more aware the Pines is a safer, more caring places to live and work.
So…What better way to get to know your neighbors than throwing a neighborhood party for all 901 Winter Park Pines residences?!?! The WPPCA Board, is excited to get the ball rolling again this year for the 3rd annual National Night Out. The event is hosted by the Winter Park Pines Community Association and will be held in October.
